What better way to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee than a community party and barn dance.
Handsworth Forum, Handsworth Parish Centre and St Mary's Church have come together to organise a Queen's Jubilee community party and dance which will take place on Monday 4th June.
The free party is running from 12-3pm with a variety of activities and attractions taking place in the Parish Centre.
Visitors have been encouraged to bring a picnic and to enjoy a 'friendly community atmosphere with music, children's games, performances, stalls and much more.'
In the evening, the visitors will go back to the Centre to take part in a barn dance, hosted by musicians from the Handsworth Traditional Swords Dancers running from 8-10.30pm.
